Our Story
Hello, I’m Karen Casagrande Gimmestad, founder of Casagrande Cleaning. Originally from Criciúma, Santa Catarina, and holding a degree in Civil Engineering from UNESC, I have always been passionate about transforming spaces. My professional journey in Brazil was built through a solid career in engineering and architecture, where I had the opportunity to collaborate with discerning clients, creating residences and buildings that combine functionality, elegance, and sophistication.
With a meticulous and pragmatic approach, I have always sought solutions that integrate practicality and comfort, prioritizing the needs and desires of my clients. This attentive focus on design and functionality was what motivated me to find ways to apply these same principles to people’s everyday lives, optimizing their spaces and, consequently, their time.
When I moved to Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, after deciding to build a life with my husband, Jason, I saw a significant opportunity in the local domestic services industry. While there are many traditional cleaning services, I noticed a critical gap: the lack of an approach that combined cleaning with organization, creating spaces that were not only clean but also reflected each client’s personality and lifestyle.
It was from this realization that Casagrande Cleaning was born. I decided to found the company with the mission to offer a unique service that went beyond the conventional. By combining my background in engineering and architecture with my passion for design and decoration, I developed a cleaning concept that also values organization and space optimization. To me, organization is the key to transforming a house into a truly welcoming and functional home.
